The mechanism
The chart shows two lines starting from the same point. The green "more with more" line reinvests the savings and climbs to $1.9M; the red "more with less" line pockets the savings as cost-cutting and slides to $0.75M. Same AI, same savings, but the two bets split apart around year three. You can only spend a dollar of savings once - putting it into building capacity is what keeps paying off.
