The mechanism

The chart is a rising curve. The bottom runs from cheap, low-risk buys on the left to expensive, high-stakes buys on the right; the side counts how many touches it takes to decide. A $40 online order needs one or two touches, so the final click really tells the story. A five- or six-figure agency deal takes around 15 touches over nine months, and the shaded zone on the right marks where attribution software stops telling the truth. The exact place your dashboard goes dark is where the real money is, so a big sale that can't be traced to one click is showing you its value, not a flaw.

Part of Persistence. Infrastructure that keeps growth compounding past founder heroics.
