The Costume Problem
A label anyone can copy by Friday stops giving you any edge at all.

The mechanism
The chart plots standout power against how widely a move gets copied, from scarce to saturated. The red dashed line is a borrowed label like 'full-stack' or 'AI-first' - high while it is rare, then falling as everyone adopts it. The green line is a real committed position, which starts lower but climbs as it stays rare. A borrowed word is a costume; a real commitment means saying no to some buyers, which is why it lasts while copied labels fade.
