The mechanism

The chart runs two columns from the same starting point, "we need more leads." On the left, with no clear positioning, the new hire can't explain what makes you different, sends generic pitches, converts poorly, and gets fired. On the right, positioning is sorted first, so the same hire has a story to tell, aims their outreach, and succeeds. Same caliber person - the only thing that changed was the ground they were standing on.
