The mechanism

The chart shows two content paths run at the same effort. On the left is the mirror: you write about your solution, peers say 'great post,' and it ends in zero inbound. On the right is the market: you write about the buyer's problem in their words, buyers think 'that's me,' and it ends in inbound from the right people. Describe the buyer's symptom and they recognize themselves; describe your craft and you only impress your competitors.
