The Nine Levers
Picking one narrow focus quietly improves nine different parts of the business at the same time, not just one or two.

The mechanism
The chart lists nine measures in two columns - five about winning work, like how often you can publish and how many leads close, and four about running the work, like pricing, the profit you keep, and how long clients stay. Next to each is an arrow showing it moving in the good direction. A generalist only watches one or two of these, and the other seven drift. Narrowing your focus nudges all nine at once, and that stacking up is the real payoff.
Part of Positioning. Who you are for and why you are the obvious choice.
