The mechanism

The chart walks a price complaint down a short set of yes-or-no questions. Is someone already glad to pay this? Is there a true cheaper rival, or just an unclear payoff? Is the price tied to a number they can do the math on, or only to a deliverable? Nearly every honest path ends not at a real price problem but at a payoff you never made clear - same price, different reaction, once you spell out the outcome.

Part of Positioning. Who you are for and why you are the obvious choice.
