The mechanism

The chart shows four steps left to right, each with an owner. The relationship-builder owns the first two, the trust-building conversation and a written brief of what matters. The third step, the introduction, is owned by both at once, shown in gold as the overlap. The fourth, the transfer, is owned by the closer. A callout marks that middle moment as the only point where two people hold the client together. The seam disappears only when both roles are active at the same time; a planned overlap, not a summary email, is what carries the trust across.
