The mechanism

The chart is a timeline with three stages. Stage one, before launch, holds mistakes like packaging before deciding who it's for, packaging the popular service instead of the repeatable one, and pricing low just to test. Stage two, within 90 days, is marked as where most attempts die - one scope exception, then the founder back in every deal, and it quietly becomes custom work again. Stage three, at scale, splits into two businesses as old clients stay on the old model. Each failure is predictable, and most founders hit one they've already seen in a different offer.

Part of Productization. How you package and price the work.
