The Value-Based Transition Timeline
You can't flip to charging for results overnight, but a staged year-long plan gets there without losing clients.

The mechanism
The chart is a timeline with four overlapping phases. First, use the new pricing only on new clients and leave current ones alone. Second, build proof by tracking wins and putting a dollar value on them. Third, hold check-in talks framed around whether you're still fixing the right problem - not a price hike. Fourth, each client either switches or parts ways. A red warning up top marks the mistake of switching everyone at once; the clients who won't follow the staged path quietly show you who to let go.
Part of Productization. How you package and price the work.
